Since the middle of December I’ve been up to my eyeballs with getting my wife’s website up and running on WordPress.

Initially there was a bit of a learning curve but once I got comfortable with it I regret that we waited as long as we did to make the move from static HTML to a CMS.
Shit that was difficult or just plain impossible in a static page is pretty much child’s play with the amazing amount of plugins available and we’re now at the point were all our core and wishlist functionality is in and running. Besides some fine tuning here and there I think it came out well.
We ended up buying the theme from Jestro and we tinkered with it quite a bit to get what we wanted out of it. At some point I’ll work on making a banner that rotates the logo displayed but for right now I’ll let the site and Google settle for awhile.
