Diet Update 5

by Lawrence on February 9, 2010

I haven’t written much about my dieting lately, but it’s still on-track and in the right direction.

As much as I’ve been concerned with dropping the couple pounds extra that I’m carrying around I’m just as concerned with developing lasting better eating habits.

For breakfast, I’ve turned to having daily smoothies both at work and at home. I’ve found that my favorite so far is a combination of blueberries, strawberries, bananas and soy milk.

For lunch, I’ve taken a shine to spinach salads. The cafeteria where I work has a shaker salad bar that offers up quite an ingredient selection.

For dinner I’m focused on portion control of the main course and always having the bulk of the meal be comprised of vegetables.

For desserts, I’ve found a sugar free fruit cocktail that I’ve grown fond of.

My intention is to restart going to the company gym regularly in addition to the eating habit changes, but my asthma has been acting up lately so I’m waiting for it to calm down a bit.
