You might have noticed that I’ve been messing around with themes and other design elements quite a bit over the past couple days.
Part of the reason for this is:
- I’m still trying to find a look for this blog that I like, and;
- I use this blog as my kind-of dev environment to play with things that I’m thinking of using over on my wife’s website.
I’ve gone through about a dozen themes over the past couple days and I’ve finally settled on Thesis as being the one I’m going to use going forward.
So far, it’s the combination of ease of use and flexibility that I’m liking, and it’s very easy to see what in it could be of immediate use to tick a couple things off of a wish list or two.
One thing that it has going for it that is obvious right off the bat is that its typography is just beautiful. Completely head and shoulders above other premium themes I’ve look at.
I’ll continue playing around with it here until I get my sea legs with it enough to port it over to my wife’s site.
